Connecting DAM to the Content Strategy

Setting up a content strategy is something not taken lightly. It usually involves business only, not cybrarians and IT specialists.

The content strategy must be aligned with the overall corporate strategy which, very often, proves harder than people think since corporate strategies tend to be vague. The content strategy highly impacts the DAM – the channels, metadata, taxonomy, user personas all need to be matching and aligned so the content does not get ‘lost’ or ‘structured’ in “the old approach”.
